Mbabane Swallows

The Birds

Traditionally known as the club of the elites, Mbabane Swallows are the league’s trendsetters.
A split in 1983 when two Mbabane Swallows teams turned up for a league match at Somhlolo National Stadium is the watershed moment for this great club.
Since then, Swallows has led the way, becoming the first club to be registered as a company under the stewardship of the late chairman, Bheki Simelane, who then passed on the baton to current chairman, Victor Gamedze, a former striker for the ‘Birds’, in early 2000.
