Tournament Review:

Led by coach Jorge Costa, the Panthers of Gabon failed to make a consistent impact during the 2015 CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea after bowing out in the first round.

Although they managed to bag the three points against Burkina Faso in an impressive opening game, they went on to lose to Congo and hosts Equatorial Guinea.

Players like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Malick Evouma showed glimpses of attacking intent and goalkeeper Didier Ovono was superb in goals, but it was not enough of a team effort to see them through.
