Nigeria are making a return to the FIFA Confederations Cup for just their second appearance at the tournament, having finished fourth on their debut in 1995 in Saudi Arabia.
The Super Eagles ended a long dry spell in the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year to be crowned continental champions in South Africa.
Coached by Stephen Keshi, Nigeria will be aiming to match the achievements of Cameroon, the only African team to reach the final (in 2003), but they face a tough group.
