RwandaThe Rwanda national football team who last qualified for the Afcon in 2004 will have to be at their best if they are to go past CHAN champions Libya in the first hurdle of the 2015 Afcon preliminary round.
Recently appointed assistant Coach Cassa Andrew Mbungo remains in-charge of the team till the FA announces a new tactician. With the retirement of inspirational skipper Olivier Karekezi, the team seems to have no true leader.
They will however hope that striker Daddy Birori who has been in great form for DR Congo side AS Vita in the CAF Champions League can create the magic together with Meddie Kagere and AS Cannes’ Elias Uzamukunda.
