The Indian Ocean island of Seychelles have never qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations before, and have been infrequent competitors in the qualifiers as well.

The cash-strapped football association battled to keep afloat and as such as did not enter the qualifiers for the 2012 tournament in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

They did return for the 2013 tournament, and now again in 2015, but will have little expectation of actually winning a place in Morocco.

The side are coached by the Dutchman Jan Mak, who is in his second stint with the team having also previously led the side between 2008 and 2010.
