Despite boasting a stellar crop of players Zimbabwe have failed to qualify for a major tournament since the 2006 edition of the African Cup of Nations.
The Warriors have in their history only qualified for two AFCON tournaments (2004 and 2006), exiting both tournaments after at the group stages.
On both occasions Zimbabwe finished bottom of their group.
As of May 2014 Zimbabwe are ranked 26th on the continent and 98th in the world.
The four time COSAFA Cup winners will much like Botswana look to their South African based players as they look to qualify for the 2015 edition of the African Cup of Nations.
