One of Zambia’s oldest and most successful football clubs, Nkana dropped out of the Champions League after suffering a 5-0 aggregate defeat to Egyptian giants Zamalek in the second round.
The Zambian club’s best achievement in African Club competition is reaching the Champions League final in 1990, and they will target the 2014 Confederation Cup as a chance to add to their legacy.
Hailing from Kitwe in the Copperbelt of Zambia, 12-time Premier League winners Nkana were formed in 1935 and are known by the nickname Kalampa or the Red Devils.
